Tournaments
NJTTC holds USATT-sanctioned open tournaments each month from September to May of each year. NJTTC also holds the annual NJ State Championships (which is open only to NJ residents) each April. NJTTC Eligibility: All players must be NJTTC members. For those players who are not current NJTTC members, the Registration Fee includes a temporary NJTTC membership for the dates of the tournament. USATT Eligibility: All players MUST either i) be members of either USATT or an ITTF-affiliated association (bring your membership card or receipt) or ii) join USATT or purchase a One-Time Tournament Pass for $10 (if eligible) at the tournament. One-Time Tournament Pass Eligibility: the player must a) be an Adult (18 years or older), b) never have been a member of USATT or USTTA and c) never have purchased a One-Time Tournament Pass before. USATT Membership: Adults: $40/yr, $105/3yr; Juniors (17 years or younger): $20/yr, $50/3yr; Household (maximum of 2 adults and any number of minor children living at the same address): $60/yr, $150/3yr; Collegiate (only available to those who are full-time students at an accredited college or university; proof of enrollment must be provided): $20/yr. Results (and Photos) of Previous Tournaments Entry Policy To enter, mail entry form and full payment to NJTTC or e-mail tournament@njttc.org with ALL entry form information. Entries must be received at least three days before the tournament. All entries – including e-mail entries – are responsible for full entry fees if not withdrawn at least three days before the tournament. PHONE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Entries may be rejected if space does not permit. If paying by check, please do not include in the check payment for anything other than a single month's tournament.. Round Robin Group Sizes Round robin group sizes are determined on an event-by-event basis based on a number of factors (with the main determinant being the number of participants). In all cases, however, we will strive to avoid having round robin group sizes of fewer than 4 people. Prize Money Policy Any players who choose not to play a prize money match will only be paid the prize money awarded in the prior round, if any. Tournament Committee See you at the tournament! |
